Dachshund at the wash bay

This Dachshund is a regular, and you can tell they are used to the routine. Small breeds like this can feel nervous in an unfamiliar tub, so a calm, warm setup makes all the difference, and it shows in how relaxed they are here.

Because they sit so close to the pavement, Dachshunds pick up dirt on even a short walk. A quick top-up wash between longer grooming sessions keeps their coat and skin in good shape, and it only takes a few minutes in one of our bays.
